Cristiano Ronaldo has added his backing to United's Show Your Colours campaign, insisting the Old Trafford faithful can play a vital part in helping the team reach the Champions League final. The tie is finely balanced after Wednesday's 0-0 draw in Barcelona, where the home side had the backing of more than 90,000 supporters."The Barcelona crowd is a very good crowd, it is a very good stadium," Ronaldo told MUTV. "It was the first time I had played there and I thought the atmosphere was fantastic. But I think Manchester is better."Our fans are always fantastic, but over the last month they have been amazing. They have helped the team a lot. A good example of that was against Arsenal. The atmosphere was brilliant, the supporters were screaming and it really helped the players."I hope it carries on like that in the remaining games particularly against Barca. It makes you feel very good and proud and the motivation to succeed is high. My message to the supporters is keep it going because if you help us there will be some great results."The 'Viva Ronaldo' song is arguably the most popular on the terraces at the moment and Ronaldo says he feels a huge sense of pride whenever he hears the chant."I’ve heard the song a few times and I’m quite surprised because 'Viva' is a Portuguese word - I like it and I feel very proud," he laughed. "It's great to listen to the supporters sing, not just my music, but my colleagues and my friends as well. It creates a good atmosphere in the stadium."
